This kanekalon is lower quality, much shinier than the other brands we carry, and it can be a little more difficult to work with because it has a higher resistance to heat. Definitely worth the extra effort for the unusual colors, though! If you're planning to make dreads, we recommend using boiling water to seal them. If you're planning to make braids or twists, we recommend finishing the ends off with ortho bands or thread; most braid sealers and heat clamps will not get hot enough to melt this particular line of hair. Tape curls are more rigid than the silky curls listed above -- sort of like if you curled your hair and blasted it with hairspray. It can be used to make krinklepuff falls, braided into your hair as is, or used to make extra strudy braids or twists. Lengths range from 17-19" folded, 36-38 unfolded depending on the color/brand.
