Tinsel hair is a type of heat sealable tinsel that's great for adding a bit of sparkle and shine to dreads or braids, or wearing loose in your hair with microrings. Crinkle tinsel is thicker than synthetic hair but thinner than straight tinsel, and has a very fine crimp -- ideal for backcombing, because the texture keeps it from being slippery.
To seal, use a steamer or boiling water, and let it completely cool off and dry.
